The Modern Manufacturing Program (MMP) launched in August 2023. The program prepares individuals for entry level manufacturing careers for our industry partners such as Honda, Bridgewater, Kronospan, Anniston Army Depot, New Flyer and many others. Students will learn basic employability skills, safety, technical skills, and manufacturing principles needed to be successful in today's manufacturing environment. The program includes instruction in machine operations, production line operations, system analysis, instrumentation, physical controls, automation, manufacturing planning, quality control, safety, employability skills, maintenance, and informational infrastructure. All manufacturers will benefit as these students will be eligible and ready for hire once they have completed the program.
